Nutty Crisp Honey Bars4 cups
Nutty Crisp Honey Bars
4 cups of mixed salted nuts
1/2 cup of almonds
3/4 cup of hemp hearts
just under 3/4 up of chia seeds
Blend all of the above in the food processor as shown in video.
Add 1/2 cup of raisins
1/2 cup of craisins
1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips and mix
Add just under 1/2 cup of coconut oil
3/4 cup of honey
2-3 tablespoons of cinnamon Mix well again
Place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and press it into place. It does not have to go all the way to the edges. Bake in a 350 ℉ oven for 35 minutes or until it is a dark golden color. Allow to cool a bit and while still very hot, cut it into the shape and size you like. The bars are about 1/4 inch in in thickness.
These are really a healthy treat to have. I think they go very well with your morning coffee or a snack during the evening!
