In this video tutorial, you'll learn how to speak in connected speech in English (it's a full course) - everything you need to know in 60 minutes! It includes assimilation, linking, intrusion and gemination. Plus, it includes trip around England with me. Below are the details of this full, free course available on one video on YouTube:
The full title of the course is 'Everything's Connected - A Guide to Pronunciation & Connected Speech in British English'.
The video is divided into 6 modules, each focussing on a part of pronunciation or connected speech AND as a bonus, there is a virtual trip around Britain at the same time. I add in a bit of culture for the towns we visit for added interest.
I would recommend watching the whole video from start to finish but if you don't have the time then you can watch it module by module if you prefer. You don't need to know anything about connected speech before you start watching as each important part of connected speech is explained in the video.
