Andrea Motis feat. by WDR BIG BAND - Brisa

The WDR BIG BAND performs together with Andrea Motis (vocals / trumpet) her composition "Brisa" in an arrangement by Michael P. Mossman. Solos are played by Andrea Motis on trumpet and Raphael Klemm on trombone. The WDR BIG BAND performs under the direction of Michael P. Mossman. Recorded at WDR Studio Bocklemünd (March 2021).

The young Spanish singer and trumpeter Andrea Motis is the most successful offspring so far from the talent factory of Joan Chamorro in Barcelona. She has released her music, which is strongly influenced by Latin American rhythms, in small formations on several CDs on well-known labels so far. At the invitation of the WDR BIG BAND, the American trumpeter, bandleader and arranger Michael P. Mossman has now written a program in large orchestral sound garb. In addition to a CD/LP, selected pieces were produced for video in the WDR television studios.
