Phospholipids have a hydrophilic head and hydrophobic tails. These properties allow them to be arranged to form plasma membranes, which compartmentalise cells in living organisms and control the passage of substances in and out of cells.

***Note: Apologies for some parts being cut out (leading to sudden cut offs in audio at parts). I've added subtitles that include what I originally wanted to say in those specific missing parts that are important (starting at 3:53), so hopefully you wouldn't have missed anything.
Movie maker is being funny when exporting videos and chooses to cut off trimmed clips at random (weirdly, other videos of the same file type were absolutely fine...). Looking for sustainable solutions, so please bear with it at the moment!
