CLOSE positive CG lighting strike with loud thunder!

A complex lightning flash produces several positive ground strikes, including one within 3/4 mile in Brentwood, St. Louis, MO that produces a powerful blast of thunder. Milliseconds before the ground strike, a short-lived upward leader forms on a tower. Filmed with 60fps video camera, 1,500fps high-speed camera and 30fps dashcam. Copyright Dan Robinson
