Workers' Party has championed alternative policies in Parliament: MP Leon Perera

Opposition MP Leon Perera said the Workers' Party has offered alternative policies that differ substantively from the ideas of the ruling People's Action Party. He cited examples such as slowing reserves growth to enhance liveability, social justice and social mobility, as well as reducing BTO prices based on tweaks to the land valuation formula. Mr Perera was responding to DPM Lawrence Wong's comment that the Opposition should offer concrete alternative policy ideas.
