NACFC 2022 | S25: What Is the Deal with Type 2 Diabetes and Cystic Fibrosis Related Diabetes (CFRD)

This session addresses the evolving understanding of diabetes in the changing cystic fibrosis population. Topics will include the genetic link between type 2 diabetes and cystic fibrosis-related diabetes (CFRD), the role of insulin resistance, the impact of highly effective modulator therapy, and the use of type 2 diabetes medications to treat CFRD.
