Its seems that everyday there’s a new ingredient we need to be scared of or an old fave that’s actually been destroying our skin.
However what this seems to stem from is people taking studies or even experts quotes of of context, cherry picking data and forming an ew narrative. And also just a lack of understanding how the chemistry of skincare works.
Now, as we know, I’m not a chemist or nor do I have any certifications in the skincare realm. So as always, I want to share some informative posts from some of the amazing skincare experts and scientists I follow online, and crush a few ingredient myths.
Also sorry, please remember that all ingredients have the ability it irritate your skin or simply not work for you, so whilst the ingreiwdnats I’m talking about today are largely demonised, no one is discrediting or ignoring your personal irritations or hatred for these ingredients and it sucks that your skin hates them. .
