Japji Sahib English Explanation Katha of 2nd Pauri, 1 of 2

With Guru's blessings, the SIKHI in English series will be going through the entire Sri Jap Ji Sahib, the very first Bani in Sri Guru Granth Sahib and trying understand it in English alongside singing Gurbani kirtan to help explain further.
This video starts with looking at the second Pauri of Sri Jap Ji Sahib. "Hukami Hovan Aakaar, Hukam na Kehiaa Jaee" We see how Guru Nanak Dev ji explains the divine order of the world and how we fit into Vaheguru's Hukam.
We also relate this to Gur Arjan Dev ji's shaheedi and talk about how they were attuned to the Divine will and accepted their forthcoming torture with the shabad, "Tera Kiaa Meetha laage". There is beautiful kirtan and katha by 1G seva and Bhai Amarpreet Singh.
With the grace of Guruji, SIKHI in English, our new initiative is every Sunday from 6-7pm at Park Avenue Gurdwara, Southall. English discourse alongside kirtan and simran by local kirtanees. Please give us your darshan and sangat. More information at www.everythings13.org
