One last thing from this game: If you pair up certain characters together, you get different artwork and a special name for these teams:

Sonic & Knuckles - Fighting Buddies
Amy & Cream - Team Jubilee
Sonic & Tails - Unbreakable Bond
Sonic & Amy - Lovely Couple

(The inverse also works.)

And if you play as Sonic with Amy as your partner, if Amy is idle, hearts will come out of her head, as she's fighting the forces of evil with her true blue love.
