BBC's SD channels have been
BBC's SD channels have been removed from the smart swap section on Skys EPG
So trying to view the channels (or the "channel closed slate") in the 800s not produced a "Unavailable" message.
The only way to watch BBC channels via satellite is via their HD channels.
So you may need to upgrade your satellite receiver, perform a channel rescan, or ensure that your satellite dish is of the correct size for where you are located.
But these closures should not be a surprise to anyone. The closures were first mentioned over a year ago, and since August 2023, on screen captions have been shown on the SD channels informing of the SD channel closure date.
