B scan course || differentiate retinal detachment from vitreous detachment and choroidal detachment

IN this video, we explain how to differentiate the retinal detachment from the posterior vitreous detachment and choroidal detachment. The various differentiating factors are explained first like reflectivity, location, aftermovement . this is followed by learning these with examples . the video explains with example the b scan images of exudative RD , Rhegmatogenous RD, and tractional RD .
in exudative RD what is a shifting fluid sign, that is explained. a tera on b scan and giant retinal tear on b scan is shown. this is followed by images of posterior vitreous detachment and how to differentiate it from the CHORIDAL DETACHMENT and RETINAL DETACHMENT.

A choroidal detachment is usually dome shaped and has a M spike and that differentiates it from RETINAL DETACHMENT.
The video also tells differences between a hemorrhagic CD and a serous CD

This channel is run and managed by Dr AMRIT SAHIL PANJWANI ( MBBS, MS OPHTHALMOLOGY )
