Jimmy Jewell and Ben Warriss (1948)

Jimmy Jewell and Ben Warriss were a very popular double-act in the 1940s and 1950s - in fact they kept going until 1967. This performance is from a variety show recorded in 1948  in front of a Forces audience by the Overseas Recorded Broadcast Service (part of ENSA). Food rationing was in force at the time and jokes about food were always popular.
