The British Transport Police has
The British Transport Police has released footage of the moment a train struck a trolley which had been deliberately pushed on the track.
Officers have released the CCTV in a bid to identify him and warn of the dangers of placing items on the track.
Officers are keen to speak to the man in the video.
Inspector James Tyrrell, of BTP, said: "The image of the man is clear, if you recognise him, I'd urge you to come forward."
Anyone with information is asked to call Freefone 0800 40 50 40 quoting incident B4/LNA of 30/08/2013. Report by Andrea Lilly.
