MIMOSA CAKE - EASY AND
MIMOSA CAKE - EASY AND VERY GOOD RECIPE! Celebrate March 8, World Women's Day, with a very special cake dedicated to women: the Mimosa cake.
Making it at home is very simple and also a lot of fun!
The mimosa cake is made with a light and tasty sponge cake and a delicate and fragrant cream based on custard and whipped cream.
Recipe :
-- Sponge cake --
260 g sugar
Orange peel
vanilla
a pinch of salt
7 whole eggs
225 g flour
75 g potato starch
pour into 2 cake pans of 26 cm and 22 cm
180 degrees for 25 minutes
- Cream -
1 L fresh milk
40 g corn starch
40 g rice starch
260 g sugar
4 yolks
Orange peel
vanilla
let it cool and then add the whipped cream
500 g pre-sweetened whipped cream or add 2 tablespoons of sugar
- fruit in syrup
peaches and pineapples cut into cubes
about 500 g
- Wet to soak the sponge cake
bathes in limoncello
or the same juice as fruit in syrup
Let the cake rest in the refrigerator for at least 5 hours before consuming it, it will be tastier because all the elements will have time to tie together. I cut it right away because I couldn't wait to share it with you!
