Škoda Auto a.s often shortened to Škoda, is a Czech automobile manufacturer established in 1925 as the successor to Laurin & Klement and headquartered in Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic. Škoda Works became state-owned in 1948. The country pioneer in the automotive field and Skoda is one such flag bearer of German technology. German engineering is known for its precision manufacturing with utmost quality. The most reliable car overall is the petrol Skoda Superb with an impressive score of 99.2%, followed by the Skoda Kamiq with 97.4%. The best performing Volkswagen is the T-Roc with 96.3%.

As per Skoda's global sales numbers, India with CY2022 sales of 51,900 units is ranked third after Germany (134,300) and the Czech Republic (71,200) and is ahead of the UK (50,000) and Poland (45,000).

The best feature of the Skoda Kodiaq is the Infotainment system. As an overview, this system comes standard with the Laura digital voice assistant, DAB technology, and optional online radio stations. Thanks to the integrated eSIM, kodiaq's infotainment systems are always online, giving you access to online stations. These cars are the epitome of luxury, but the passengers' safety is also key to the German carmaker. Features like airbags, ABS with EBD, hill ascent and descent, cruise control, and much more ensure proper safety and a smooth ride.

You're right about Toyotas being reliable. In fact, if reliability is your ultimate goal, then Toyota, Honda, and Subaru are usually your safest bets. That said, Skoda is rarely that far behind the big Japanese names in reliability terms, and often is the best-performing European marque in that regard.
