Here is how you can track its effectiveness using a few tools and Google Analytics.

Step 1 -

Complete your landing page where you want visitors to arrive and copy the landing page url.

Step 2 -

Go to Google URL Builder, paste your landing page url in and set your campaign name and source. Then Generate URL and copy it to your clipboard.

Step 3 -

Go to Google URL Shortener service, paste in your generated URL. Click 'Shorten URL'. (note: you may have to complete a captcha form).

Then click on 'details' below the shortened url to access your QR code.

Step 4 -

Right mouse click on the QR code and copy the image. You can now include this in your offline advertising artwork.

Step 5 -

You can now log into your Google Analytics account and under Traffic Sources, Sources, Campaigns you will see your new QR code data show up when it gets scanned and people arrive at your dedicated landing page.
