Methi is a very versatile
Methi is a very versatile herb and can be used in many different dishes but generally in combination with something to cut bitterness. Lamb mince and methi make for a perfect combination and is a great alternative to plain mince curry or just mince with peas.
Ingredients
500g lamb mince, rinsed and drained
~3 bunch methi herbs
1/2 cup frozen peas
1 medium onion finely sliced
1 large tomato, chopped
handful of curry leaves
1/2 tsp thyme
1 tsp ginger garlic
1 tsp salt
small cinnamon stick
1 tbs mixed masala
1 tsp steak and chops spice
1 tsp hurdee
1/4 cup oil
Dhania to garnish
Optional - hard boiled eggs
Served hot with dhal, rice and carrot salad. Can also be served with plain roti. A quick and easy lunch time meal.
