1 कप सूजी से बनाएं सॉफ्ट और हेल्दी नाश्ता | Suji Ka Nasta | Healthy & Tasty Breakfast Recipe
It is a simple and healthy recipe made with the combination of semolina and curd with some spices. It is an ideal dish for breakfast which is served with a cup of yoghurt , chutney and pickle. But this recipe can also be served for morning lunch or evening snack.
Ingredients ~
For Batter
●Semolina ( Suji / Rava ) - 1 Cup
●Curd (दही) – ½ Cup
●Water- ½ Cup
●Ginger & Green chilly - 1 tbsp
●Cumin seeds -1 tbsp
●Salt (नमक) – to taste
●Sugar - ½ tsp
●Coriander leaves - ½ cup
●Eno or Baking Soda - 1 tsp
For Chutney~
●Coriander Leaves
●Curd - ½ cup
●Water - ½ cup
●Black salt as per taste
●Sugar - ½ tsp
●Cumin (powder) – 1 tsp
Instructions ~
◇ For the batter, add sooji, curd, water in a clean grinding jar & make smooth paste . Pour this batter in a bowl & add some water and mix. Now add crushed ginger - green chilly , black salt & sugar. Mix rava batter well with the help of a whisk .Ensure the batter is completely lump-free. The batter should be a little runny as we’ve added sooji, after a 15 - 20 minutes rest it’ll thicken up.
◇ In the meantime let's prepare the coriander chutney.Add some coriander leaves in a blending jar along with 2 Green chillies, 1 inch Ginger , ½ cup of Curd & Make a smooth paste.Transfer it to a bowl. Now add Black salt , sugar & cumin powder .Mix well. And our Coriander chutney is ready, keep aside.
◇ To make the batter extra fluffy, add baking soda and gently mix it. Just lift and drop. Grease the plate with a little oil. Now pour the batter into the thali. Do not fill the plate completely with the batter.
◇ Steam the batter thali in a steamer for about 20-30 minutes or until they are cooked through. You can insert a toothpick or knife into middle of the plate to check if it comes out clean. If it does, the idlis are done.
◇ Now remove the plates from steamer,allow the thali to cool for a few minutes before removing them from the plates. Now loosen it by rotating its sides with a knife. And cut it into triangle shape .
◇ Serve this Breakfast hot with Coriander chutney & Tomato ketchup.
