History - Newcastle railway line (NSW TrainLink)

The Newcastle branch line serves the city of Newcastle, north of Sydney. Currently terminating at Newcastle Interchange and previously at Newcastle station, it links the city to Sydney and the Hunter region. It is served by intercity trains run by NSW TrainLink.
