Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai gives this discourse from the beautiful Sai Prema Ashrama on the island of Fiji. Sadguru begins by recapping the first three chapters of the *gīta*.

Sadguru then starts Chapter 4 - Jnana Karma Sanyasa Yoga. In this chapter Krishna tells Arjuna that he is sharing this old transcendental knowledge with him because Arjuna is His dear friend and a good devotee. The Idea of Jnana Karma Sanyasa Yoga is for one to realize who they are and based on that  perform actions accordingly.

God is just reflection, reaction and resound of our own selves — whatever we think of Him, He becomes that for us. You are not the doer nor the enjoyer, you are the free soul. One who sees action in inaction and inaction in action is the wise one. Everything we do should be done as an offering to God and results should be accepted as a divine gift.

Krishna tells Arjuna that to attain this wisdom of the highest self he must completely empty himself of attachments and desires and go to a Guru. The true goal of life is to liberate ourselves. Have shraddha, be sincere, learn this wisdom from a Guru and you will know the highest truth. Once you attain this wisdom you immediately attain peace and realise your divinity.
