About the game:
Anno 1503: The New World (released as 1503 A.D.: The New World in North America) is a 2002 construction and management simulation developed by Max Design and published by Sunflowers Interactive. It's part of the Anno series, and is the direct sequel to Anno 1602, the most commercially successful German game ever by 2002. Anno 1503 revolves around building and maintaining a 16th-century colony in the New World.
Anno 1503 begins with the player in control of a ship filled with men and material searching for an island to settle. After finding a suitable site city building begins. Resources begin as food and cloth, but progress into more complicated and different goods. Eventually, citizens become Aristocrats, and require at least ten different goods and numerous services, such as access to a large church or a bathhouse.
About the run:
The main objectiv is to have 1000 Inhabitats on your Islands, the problem is, you are running low on money and resources to get there. So I barely made it wih my money in a decent time. There are various strats for this mission, I tried to concentrate all my efforts in one main Island to get as many settlers a possible. My build order was okay, command execution a bit chaotic and I did so many small mistakes. Nevertheless I am happy with the result.
Very great game with a high difficulty.
