About the game:
Anno 1503: The New World (released as 1503 A.D.: The New World in North America) is a 2002 construction and management simulation developed by Max Design and published by Sunflowers Interactive. It's part of the Anno series, and is the direct sequel to Anno 1602, the most commercially successful German game ever by 2002. Anno 1503 revolves around building and maintaining a 16th-century colony in the New World.
Anno 1503 begins with the player in control of a ship filled with men and material searching for an island to settle. After finding a suitable site city building begins. Resources begin as food and cloth, but progress into more complicated and different goods. Eventually, citizens become Aristocrats, and require at least ten different goods and numerous services, such as access to a large church or a bathhouse.
About the run:
Its very rare to find a more easy level for Anno 1503 to run. The game itself has a high difficulty and can be very slow from time to time. Not sure how much more Levels I will cover, but at least this one is a starting point.
The scenario is a bit boring, because you just have to ship the hemp from port to port in order to win. So I build a lot of unecessary buildings while the ship is sailing.
Anno 1503 was very ambitous for its time and is my secret favorite entry in the franchise. To bad it lacked MP back in the day, this was not a very wise move from the Developers.
And yes I know you can Fast Forward so its runs with a higher speed....well I think this looks stupid, so I played it in normal speed or No FF as it is called in the Anno scene.
