Bodycam DUI Arrest - 20-Year-Old Nursing Student Arrested for 2nd DUI

On November 11, 2022, Bowling Green (Ohio) Police Officer Garman noticed a vehicle allegedly traveling with no headlights on.  He initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and the 20-year-old driver claimed it wasn't her vehicle.  Officer Garman stated that he could smell alcohol coming from inside the vehicle so he asked the woman to step outside in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests.   She was placed under arrest for DUI, even though she begged him to her let go.  During a pat down search, a fake ID was found.  She was transported to the police station where she refused to submit to a breath test.   The police report indicates that because this was her 2nd DUI arrest, Officer Garman advised her that he was going to obtain a search warrant for a blood draw.  As a result, the woman agreed to provide a urine specimen, which was sent to the Lucas County Forensics Toxicology Lab for analysis of blood alcohol content.   The police report does not reveal the outcome of the laboratory analysis.  However, she did eventually plead guilty to Reckless Driving.   All of her charges and her sentence are discussed at the end of the video.
