Nachni satva or Ragi satva is a sweet delicacy. It also contains high amounts of calcium and iron! Ragi is an excellent meal option, as it helps in the formation of bones and teeth in growing babies. This sweet recipe is very easy and simple to make, and is highly nutritious at the same time.

INGREDIENTS:
1/3 cup ragi, Nachani
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup milk
Water

METHHOD:
1. In a large bowl take ragi millet and add cup of water, Soak the ragi for 24 hours.
2. Next day drain the water and add soaked ragi into a mixer jar.
3. Using some water grind it into a smooth paste.
4. Now extract ragi juice by squeezing the paste. Repeat the same process for 3-4 times.
5. Keep the juice aside for 10-15 minutes.
6. After 10-15 minutes excess water will float on the top. Discard the excess water.
7. Now add 1 cup of milk and mix it well.
8. Add ragi and milk mixture in a kadhai, also add sugar.
9. Now switch on the gas on low flame and mix well.
10. Cook the mixture till it thickens up. Keep stirring the mixture continuously. Make sure no lumps are formed.
11. Once mixture begins to thicken up switch off the flame and serve ragi satva hot.
