In the last video of GST fastrack course we discussed about Supply, Levy and Collection of GST part 1, now in today's video we discussed the Levy and Collection of GST part 2. GST has brought a single and unified taxable event which is supply, i.e., tax would be payable on the supply of goods or services.
Supply, Levy and collection of GST comes under the Section 9 of CGST Act/SGST Act and Section 5 of IGST Act. CGST and SGST shall be levied on all intra-state supplies of goods and/or services and IGST shall be levied on all inter-state supplies of goods and/or services respectively.
