In the previous video of our GST Fastrack course, we have discussed the Power of Exemption under the CGST Act 2017.
Now in this video, we are going to discuss the List of Services that are exempted from CGST. To determine the tax liability under CGST, it is necessary to check for not only the goods or services that are chargeable to tax and also to look into the goods or services that are exempted from tax.
As per section 2(47) of CGST Act 2017, an exempt supply means any goods or services or both:
which attract nil rate of tax or
that may be wholly exempt from tax under section 11 or
that may be wholly exempt from tax under section 6 of IGST act or
including non-taxable supply
