Mental illness: The Ride to Wellness (Documentary Trailer 2019)
I crossed Canada with Mr. Ryan Phillips this past summer for Mental Health Awareness. There were many ups and downs during this 64-day 6000km+ journey and I learned a lot about mental health in the process. We met an incredible number of people along the way, all of which were very supportive of the cause. Mental health affects EVERYONE.

Ryan Phillips cycled across Canada for mental health awareness. He was diagnosed with bipolar 5 years ago and chose to ignore it. After a great deal of pain and struggling, he decided to reach out for help and try to make a positive change. This marked a major turning point in his life. After experiencing such a dark period, he was able to find the light and the will to live again.
This mental health documentary is an account of the events in Ryan Phillips' life, his struggle with mental health and coverage of the ride across Canada.
