cml136 33 UP L Military train 16 Sep 15

cml136: This westbound Union Pacific train is a Loaded Military train carrying support equipment, no tanks on this particular train, as it goes by the grassy field in San Antonio, TX, on 16 Sep 15.  The train is going fairly slowly, and stops twice, giving us a chance to observe the various types of support equipment on the train.  Since it is westbound, I would assume the equipment is returning to it’s home base after being deployed overseas.  The equipment probably came off a ship at Galveston or Corpus Christi.  Carl Lehman
