This video in our just passing trains series, is focused on the Union Pacific – Military Train passing Bufford, Wyoming, with NS (Norfolk Southern) lead, UP Mile post 536.0 on September 9th 2022.
This cool catch was a strictly military train consisting of 2 locomotives up front, 74 military cars, loaded with tanks and more, and a rear locomotive. In the beginning of the video you see this train in the distance, winding it’s way through the hills and curves of the Bufford, Wyoming, Sherman Hill summit area and then passing by going around the old Bufford water tower.
