Earthquake: The Big One was a special effects attraction at Universal Studios Florida. Based on the disaster film, Earthquake, the attraction featured three press shows that explained how the special effects in the film were accomplished. The final part of the attraction had guests boarding a San Francisco subway train and experiencing an earthquake in the subway tunnels. In this video we take a look at the original attraction on the studio tram tour at Universal Studios Hollywood, the history of the attraction at the changes during its lifespan, the conversation of the attraction to Disaster! A Motion Picture Starring You! And the closure of the attraction.
