The Theme Park History of Poseidon's Fury (Universal's Islands of Adventure)

Poseidon’s Fury is a special effects show that opened at Islands of Adventure on May 28th, 1999. Combining walkthrough sections, live actors, pyrotechnics, and water effects, Poseidon’s Fury takes guests on an archaeological expedition through the darkened ruins of the ancient Temple, only to somehow find themselves in the middle of a timeless battle between Poseidon and the evil Lord Darkenon thousands of miles under the ocean.
