When asked about how is autism diagnosed and the autism diagnosis process, many parents always ask about brain scans or blood tests. But the truth is, there is no such thing. Practitioners rely on behavior observation and testing to decide whether a child may have autism. The ADOS test, or the autism diagnostic observation schedule, is one way for a child to be tested for autism. And in today’s video I’m covering how the ADOS test is usually conducted and providing a few examples of some questions that might be asked on a typical ADOS test.
