Chapter 9 recapping my unexpected Autism and ADHD year: this week I focus on the formal ADOS-2 autism assessment - how to prepare for it, what to expect, and the rollercoaster of emotions you can expect before, during and after it.

Uncertainty and unpredictability often really stresses us when we’re on the spectrum and I couldn’t find an awful lot about the process of the ADOS-2 assessment prior to my own, so I hope this video helps plug that gap a little bit and de-mystifies what to expect, making the process of a formal assessment feel a bit less intimidating and a bit more surmountable.
