Easy way to make authentic Karahi Gosht (Mutton) recipe | Family favourite

Here's how to cook a delicious traditional Karahi Gosht.

Ingredients
700g mutton
4 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon salt to oil
1 and a half teaspoon salt to add after frying meat
8 garlic cloves
Ginger 2 inch
4 tomatoes
2 teaspoon Red chilli flakes
2 teaspoon Kashmiri chilli powder
2 teaspoon Black pepper
1 tablespoon Coriander powder
1 tablespoon Cumin powder
1 cup water after adding spices
2 and half cup water
1/4 cup Yoghurt
2 green chillies
Garnish with juliennes of ginger and green chillies.

Instructions
On high heat
Add oil then add 1 teaspoon salt to prevent splattering
Add meat, fry for 2 to 3 minutes
Add 8 garlic + 2 inch ginger, fry for one minute
Add 1 and a half teaspoon salt
Add 4 tomatoes halved
Cover with lid for five minutes
Peel off the tomato skin.
Add spices and cook for two to three minutes, mix well then cover with lid for 5 mins.
Open lid, mix for a minute and then add 2 cup water
Mix and bring to boil, then cook on low heat for 60 to 75 mins (to cook mutton)
Mix then add 1/4 cup Yoghurt, make sure to stir the yoghurt before adding to the curry otherwise it will split. Make sure the heat is on low and stir thoroughly after adding the yoghurt.
2 green chillies
Simmer for 15 mins
Garnish with juliennes of ginger and green chillies.
