Clean your Brita Pitchers! Algae! A lesson Learned (1/23/14)

How was I supposed to know that algae could grow on the bottom of your Brita pitchers?  I grew up being a bottled water family, but I did have fish as a kid and I knew that algae grew from the water and with constant light on the tank. But I put my Brita filter in the refrigerator. And really, the fridge isn't open that much. I swear.

But yeah, now I know better. Clean your shit. Don't be an idiot.
