On Tuesday, September 15, 2020, the Decorative Art Trust hosted the first Trust Tour at the Philadelphia Museum of Art (PMA). We were led through the galleries by Alexandra Kirtley, the Museum’s Montgomery-Garvan Curator of American Decorative Arts. The presentation was a farewell tour to the current installation of early American art at the PMA. New early American art galleries open to the public in 2021.
Trust Tours is a monthly virtual program that gives viewers the opportunity to go behind the scenes and experience incredible collections live. Curators, collectors, and lovers of decorative arts share some of their favorite objects live.
