Leopard snake (Zamenis situla) is one of the most beautiful and rare snakes of Europe. It lives in coastal regions of Balkan peninsula, in Southern Italy and in Turkey (also on islands). In this video you will see a wild juvenile Leopard snake which we found in Greece. Closely related snake species to Leopard snake is the Aesculapian snake (Zamenis longissimus). We show a juvenile and adult in this video. Leopard snakes is also called European ratsnake.
