Boas are very famous snakes. Boa constrictor and Boa imperator (Common boa) are very common in captivity as pets. Wild Red-tailed boa (Boa imperator) is shown in this video. Boas are very strong and can grow up to 3 meters, maybe more. Tree boas from genus Corallus are also favorite snakes for many people. Annulated tree boa (Corallus annulatus) is shown in this video. Boas don't live only in Central and South America, but also in Madagascar. Dumeril's boa (Acrantophis dumerili) is one of 4 species of boas living in Madagascar. Boas have huge strength and can kill big animals, they are the apex predators.
