What if Terry Silver knows sleazy auto dealer Tom Cole? As Terry Silver returns in Cobra Kai Season 5, the "Big T" controls the Cole family in COBRA COLE, a new comedy starring David Shatraw (Tom Cole from Cobra Kai) and Ken Cole. After years of working for a ruthless, wealthy, businessman karate master - could it be Terry Silver? - Ken Cole can't muster the courage to quit. Instead he seeks help from his rich cousin Tommy, played by David Shatraw, who lives in a Valley mansion. Tommy's housekeeper Marissa, played by Tiffany Elle, tries to endure her rude boss while paying special attention to Ken's surprise visit.

On the Cobra Kai series, David Shatraw plays Tom Cole, a sleazy car dealership owner who makes life hard for Daniel LaRusso, played by Ralph Macchio. The animosity between Tom Cole and Daniel Larusso was so strong that Daniel assumed Tom Cole was behind obscene billboard grafitti on Daniel's face. Of course the grafitti was spraypainted by Johnny Lawrence, played by William Zabka. Tom Cole also hired Anoush away from Daniel LaRusso and Tom Cole also tried to buy LaRusso Auto in Cobra Kai Season 3, forcing Daniel LaRusso to fly to Okinawa to save his dealership. He reunited with Kumiko, played by Tamlyn Tomita, and Chozen, played by Yuji Okumoto. Daniel and Amanda LaRusso then take pleasure in giving Tom Cole a hand-drawn middle finger.
Ken Cole has done numerous videos on his YouTube Channel about the character Terry Silver, played by Thomas Ian Griffith, from Karate Kid Part III, Cobra Kai Season 4, and Cobra Kai Season 5. Many fans noted that in Karate Kid Part III, Terry Silver was about to bribe District Attorney "Willie" Cole, who shares a last name with Ken Cole. Obviously Ken also shares a last name with Tom Cole from the Cobra Kai series. To date he has not conclusively addressed this issue, though he did produce a Dynatox commercial, which promoted Terry Silver and his company.
