In Atlanta, Lemon Pepper Wet wings are only described as having “the sauce on them.” American Deli's sauce carries the lemon pepper flavor all throughout the wing or drumstick, making every bite a zesty one.
Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Wet Wings Recipe:
Ingredients:
3 lbs chicken wings
3 tsp baking powder
3 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
5 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Instructions:
Pre-heat air fryer for 3 minutes.
Prior to Air frying, dry the wings with paper towels
Coat the wings with baking powder and garlic powder
Air fry at 390° for 22 minutes, flip midway through the cooking time.
Once cooked, combine melted butter and lemon pepper seasoning
Pour mixture over the wings and toss
Sprinkle some more lemon pepper seasoning to taste
Serve hot and enjoy them!
