In this video I share with you a simple yet delicious four-ingredient wheat bread recipe that I recently discovered. Inspired by a classic recipe, I baked this bread in a loaf pan and the result is simply amazing! With just four ingredients and a few simple steps, you can conjure up wonderfully fragrant and tasty bread at home. Let's bake and enjoy together Ingredients: 600 g flour (type 550) 390g water 10 g fresh yeast 13g salt Preparation: Add water and yeast to the kneading machine and mix well. Add flour and salt and knead for 15 minutes until a smooth dough forms. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes. After this time, fold the dough three times at 30 minute intervals to develop the gluten structure. After a short rest period, the dough is placed in a baking pan for 60 minutes to take its final shape. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees top and bottom heat. If you have a pizza steel or pizza stone, the oven needs to be preheated for an hour. If you don't have one of these, you don't need to preheat the oven for an hour. If you bake the whole thing on a baking tray, you need a certain heat in the oven. So a tip: When the oven has reached 250 degrees, leave the baking tray in the oven again for about 15 to 20 minutes so that the oven and the baking tray are at the right temperature. Then you can bake the bread like this too. After 60 minutes the dough has risen really nicely, as you can see in the video. Then remove the cling film and cut the dough once at a 45 degree angle, as shown in the video. This has the advantage that the crumb breaks open nicely if you cut it at the top at a 45 degree angle. As soon as the oven has reached 250 °C top and bottom heat, the bread goes into the oven. A little steam is needed so that the result is as good as seen in the video. To do this, you can either use a small syringe that holds 20 ml of water, like I did, or you can simply use a small cup. You pour the whole thing into a heatproof dish in the oven when you put the bread in the oven to create steam. An alternative method is to place a small bowl of stones in the oven and spray water on it. The bread is baked at 250 °C top and bottom heat for five minutes. Then turn the oven down to 200 degrees and bake the bread for another 45 minutes. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool completely.
