Five-day AP English Literature study plan

Day 1: Prepare - Choose a work you'll use for the Open Question Essay and start reading/reviewing it - Look over an example of the exam to familiarize yourself with the format Day 2: Research - Watch strategy videos (I have lots of those in the "Ace the AP English Literature Exam" playlist!) - Find list of literary terms and identify ones you don't know Day 3: Practice - Practice an official set of multiple choice questions (at LEAST one poetry and one prose passage) - Analyze what you got wrong and why Day 4: Analyze - Practice official timed essays (40 minutes each) - Then, read example essays, explanations for grading, and the elements of the rubric Day 5: Memorize - Memorize literary terms with examples - Memorize details from pivotal scenes in your Open Question work (which you will have read in its entirety by now - Identify one or two possible "overall meanings" of the work to include in the Open Question essay ____________________ Subscribe to English Nerd for more helpful tips and nerdy goodness! :) Check out carly-stevens.com/ to find all my books including the Tanyuin Academy series, resources, and services. ____________________ Want to connect?
