Newark Ohio Fire Department Commercial Abandoned Building Fire 400 Marne Drive Madison Township

On October 4, 2021, Newark units assisted Madison Township Fire Department for a commercial structure fire at 400 Marne Drive. This was the former site if a truss manufacturing business. The building has been unoccupied for approximately three years. The site is located at the dead-end of a narrow residential street and there are no hydrants in this area, making water supply a bit challenging. The fire spread throughout the building taking approximately 90 minutes to contain.

There were no civilian or firefighter injuries at this fire.

This video was recorded with a Motorola Z Force Droid cell phone, which limits the length of each video to about 30 minutes.
