The Amazing Benbulben Co. Sligo, Ireland, with original music by Drone Fox Ireland.

I have been wanting to climb Benbulben for years. It was one of those ideas that kept coming up, especially when I would actually see the mountain. I also wanted to camp out somewhere wild as I had never gone camping before. So a year ago I got the idea to do both.  It was kind of a crazy thing but I decided to go for it.

I also want to make more videos of places that I love and felt I was finished making videos to simply learn about filming and flying my drone. Drone Fox Ireland was never about becoming a big Youtube channel. It was and is about me finding new ways to enjoy my creative nature.

From the start, I have always wanted to do my own music. Until now it's been a level of extra work I simply was not ready for. I needed to learn to edit and film first. Anyway, over the last several months, I have been learning how to create music for video, and record it. It is very complicated and I have still a lot to learn. So, I produced the music for this video. I wanted to reflect on how sleeping on top of Belbulben made me feel and how the whole experience inspired me. I know I have not done the mountain justice but it is my best effort.

This video is a celebration of three firsts. My first time climbing Belbulben, my first time camping out overnight, my first time making my own music for a video. Not bad for an old fella LOL……
