🔺18 - Moment of a Force About a Specified Axis 3D -  Vector Analysis: Example 3 - 4

In this video we are going to learn how to determine the moment of a force about a specified axis by way of vector analysis.

To find the moment of a force about a specified axis say a,
first, find
Ma = Ua . (r x F), i.e the dot product of Ua and (r x F)
where
r = position vector directed from O to any point on the line of action of F
F = is the Force F represented as a unit vector
and
Ua is the unit vector directed along the a axis

We shall solve three examples in this video.
