April was proclaimed Sikh Heritage Month in Ontario back in 2013, and became nationally recognized across the country 5 years ago. THe idea is to provide an opportunity for Canadians to reflect, celebrate and educate future generations about Sikh Canadians and their contributions to society at large, Jessica Kaitting reports:
