Back to Color Country, Saint George, and in this case Hurricane Utah. To visit an old friend Jim Keeler who IS the original Toy Man, the inspiration for the name.
Jim has been in models and toys, mostly model cars, for 70 years. Yup, you read that right, 70 years. He worked with Ed "Big Daddy" Roth in the 60's developing the Revell plastic kits of several of his cars. He was hired by Revell when he was 18 to develop their car models, a great job that gave him access to all the great custom car builders and a free ride to every major car show and event!
After a lifetime of developing and distributing models, he retired to southern Utah. But here we go AGAIN! He is working with Atlantis Models who have bought many of the original Revell molds to create a new line of model cars, Keeler's Kustoms. The first will be on shelves in a few weeks!
