Pointillism is a modern art technique developed by the artist George Seurat. It involves using small dots to create areas of color and shading. Children will explore, that by using the pointillism technique, they can achieve realistic lighting. Pointillism works by applying countless small dots to build up darker values in a drawing. The density of the dots, determines the darkness of our shading.
