What the suits are and why they were manufactured
Trauma Override Harnesses:
These were suits that were designed to take control of the wearer and move them to safety when the damage they received exceeded a certain threshold. The place that they would be taken to is called the homebase. The Trauma Override Harnesses within Big MT have 3 fatal flaws. The damage threshold is not properly configured, so that even non-lethal injuries will cause them to activate. If the homebase is not set they will wander about with no purpose, and lastly, they cannot tell whether their wearer is dead or alive. This resulted in all of them eventually taking on a mind of their own of sorts. Now, 2 centuries later, their wearers are long dead and only the skeletons remain, trapped inside suits that will attack any who enter Big MT.
